Metzeler needs no introduction to two-wheel enthusiasts. Back in 1892 when the first motorcycles were being built, this German company was among the first innovators to make specialised motorcycle tyres. History credits it with playing a significant role in tyre development for the motorcycle, bicycle, and automotive industries. That’s more than a little impressive, by any standards.
More impressive still, is that in the 120-plus years since Metzeler has remained at the forefront of motorcycle tyre technology; choosing in 1978/79 to do just one thing – motorcycle tyres – and to do it well.
